Every host gets a short web address on FireballKaraoke.com, and it is worth claiming early. It is what goes on your posters, your table cards, and your QR codes, and it is the page a singer lands on when they look you up.
Picking the address
Open your profile page in the dashboard and enter the address you want. Short and speakable beats clever: the whole point is that someone can read it off a poster or hear it over a microphone and get there.
New addresses are reviewed before they go live, so there is a short wait. Your existing address, if you have one, keeps working the entire time. Nothing about your show changes while a claim is pending, and if a request cannot be approved you keep what you had.
The page behind it
Your public page carries your photo or logo, your bio, your links, and your upcoming dates. When you are live, a banner at the top takes people straight to tonight's request page, which means the address works as both a business card and a door into the show.
Singers can follow you from that page. Following is free for them and it is how they hear that you are playing tonight.
Tips
If you take tips, add your handles on the profile page and buttons appear on your public page. We link out to the service you already use and we never touch the money: nothing goes through us, and we take nothing.
Using it at the show
The address, the QR code on your audience screen, and the posters from your scheduled shows all point at the same place, so there is only ever one thing to tell the room.
